Symptoms

Proton 5.13-4 can open the game, but the loading screen never progresses. No crash occurs, GPU and CPU utilization remain high. Game has to be killed externally.

Proton-Experimental has different behavior, the game crashes during this initial loading screen causing the unity crash reporter to trigger.
