Tested the game with Proton 5.13-6 and now it starts and runs fine. Played >2 hours with no issues.

I have purchased the game today (11/28/2022) and can't start the game due to crashing of EA App. Tried various launch options mentioned in ProtonDB and switching to Proton Experimental, but neither worked. EA App installs on first launch, than crashed instantly. Is there any resolution yet? Attached you will find my proton-log.

I had the game on the ea app I also bought it on steam to see if it changed anything but no... Anyway I used any Proton version listed here and on ProtonDB but no luck. Flashes a black window for a second and then crashes on steam and with the ea app trough Heroic doesnt even start it just brings me back to the app.

I think its something to do with atiadlxx.dll

Hello @kisak-valve! Big fan! Anyway, any ideas what is it? I did a bit of research and apparently is something related to the adrenalin software? Also i tried to add the dll to winecfg with any options but no luck...

Good news! I was looking around in winecfg and I found out that NFS16.exe has a profile actually I fistly tried changing atiadlxx.dll to native instead of builtin and a window came out! Then I tried deleting the profile but same result happened. Unfortunately it crashed shortly after this time with a wine client error:16c: write: Bad file descriptor error.
Here's the log, I'm sorry but I wasn't able to use my copy on steam since I requested a refund.
But no matter the proton version still it has the same error, still using proton experimental though.
