Hi,

it looks like that since a recent Ubisoft Connect update it is not possible anymore to save the Ubisoft credentials.
This happens for Far Cry 5 and also for The Division.

It happens with Proton-Experimental and also with Proton-5.13.6.

Would be nice if someone could take a look at that issue, cause its annoying having to enter the Ubisoft Connect credentials every time you start such a game via Steam.

Many thx !
Christian

I can also confirm this with the Tom Clancy’s The Division.

I can confirm this with Assassins Creed Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate.

This happens in Windows as well, played Assassin's Creed: Origins last week and had to login every time. So it's not an issue with Proton

Got a new proton-experimental build today and it seems to work fine again now.

Yes, I think this is fixed on today's Experimental build. Please give it a shot.

Proton-Experimental fixed the issue, thanks.

Should we close the issue ?

I've had this recently with Assassin's Creed: Black Flag on the Steam Deck using Experimental.

It would consistently ask for the password again after I selected Deluxe / Standard edition (which the launcher asks after the initial Ubi Connect login).

I resolved it by going offline on the Deck and running the game (which will fail). You can then go back online and it will no longer ask for the password.
