Hello @segvee, QUrl("https://support.codefusion.technology/tb_65fo5ier2/?e=88500006&l=english") mimetype= "text/html" looks like Denuvo Anti-Tamper stopped the game and log short. There might be a more interesting Proton log after their 24 hour cooldown expires.
Hello @kisak-valve, thank you for your reply. Today I've tried to start the game again, log is attached. I have cut the file after 2000 lines because it created a 200 MB large log file after only a few seconds. I do not understand the output and do not know how relevant the rest of the output is, to me it looks very similar to the attached log, if not the same.
The issue showing up in the log is indeed likely related to the newer Denuvo DRM but it was solved a while ago. You are using Proton 5.0, switching to the later version should pass that by (that was solved in some 5.13 updates but I recommend going straight to Proton 6.3 where I tried the game). There is another issue here however which also crashes the game on start which related to gecko. This can be temporary worked around by using 'WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xul=d" %command%' launch options string in game's General properties (until we fix it properly). With Proton 6.3 and this workaround the game seems to work fine here.
Thanks, I could indeed start the game using these options. Unfortunately, though, it seems that my GTX 970 is not strong enough since shortly after starting a freeplay session the game crashed with an out of memory message haha. Should I close the issue?
I don't think it's your hardware that's the problem @segvee . I ran out of memory after playing for a little while with my RTX 3080 as well.
