Compatibility Report

I can confirm that the game does not launch, just a white window that pops-up and then closes.

There are a few threads from Windows users of the exact same thing happening on the Steam forums. This thread I found interesting: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1514930/discussions/0/3056237966690500554/

As mentioned by a user there
"The white screen appears precisely because of problems with the connection (I even recorded a video with this strange behavior - URL Redacted the game does not launch until I turn on the VPN), but after a successful connection, the game starts for some time also in offline mode/without VPN. I think the connection occurs once at a certain time (maybe about an hour, see the video where I moved the time forward) after successful one. Perhaps this is Firebase Analytics issue due to presence of the file "google-services-desktop.json" in the game directory."

So perhaps this game not working on Proton as well has something to do with network connectivity.
