Symptoms:

Game starts without problems, menu and everything is working as expected (as far as i can tell).

Problem starts while playing a song. At first everything is fine, but in the middle of the song notes start to disapear bevore thay hit the drums. Ship is getting thrown back and forth sometimes with massive speed. Sometimes the ship is stuck and no notes are showing up.

Multiplayer works fine, but given the problems above is not realy competetivly playable. When notes do not show anymore, i can tell that there should be notes, because the other player does see them (on windows and on another headset)

Reproduction

  • start game
  • get into solo or pvp mode
  • select a song (doesn't matter wich one)
  • play the song. notes start to disapear somwhere in the middle of the song. most of the times the notes are back in the last 3rd of the song.

Is there anything i could add to help fix this bug?

I know it would be unofficial, but i realy hate to keep a version of windows on my disk, just for playing this game.

I also have this bug. It happens in some songs more than others and it's very inconsistent for when and where it happens in a song.

Some songs it will maybe happen once or twice and then be totally fine for the rest, some songs it's near constant and no song has the bug happen the same way twice.

I have attached my own log of playing two songs.

The file is actually a .tar.xz, but they are not allowed by Github so I simply appended .zip to the end of the archive.

Tried to see if things had magically improved with Proton 7.0-2, but it hasn't. Still the same note-disappearing-ship-moving issue as described above. Although it seems to happen much earlier than half the song, maybe 15-20 seconds in.
