Symptoms

  • Game launches ok
  • Video files are played without picture
  • Sound works ok but the video looks like gstreamer test picture. Because video is not visible, the game cannot be played.

  1. Launch the game.
  2. The intro video is not played correctly.
  3. If you start a new game, videos are not playing correctly.

Probably this issue is related to unsupported video encodings: #1464

The intro videos work with Proton 7.0-1! But the gameplay (subtitle) videos are still rendered with the placeholder.

It's getting better! Tried with Proton 7.0-6 and some of the subtitle videos work perfectly but some videos look like this (audio works ok):

Same bug with Steam Deck and default proton settings at this date.
No problem with the game excepts the videos that look like the previous post.
