Symptoms:
my desktop resolution is 3840 x 1080 (32:9). There are enough situations when i don't want to play fullscreen. Sometimes i want to play games but they don't support windowed mode (example game has been given). In this case virtual desktop works perfectly fine in most cases. But the following 2 things are currently broken -> a.) The XBOX Controller doesn't work. and b.) the overlay gets broken.
Reproduction
use proton experimental
play fullscreen -> controller works
switch to virtual desktop -> protontricks 35130 vd=1600x900
