Symptoms

Call of Duty Warzone doesnt work.

Reproduction

The best result I had was using the SteamClient- Beta with Proton-Battle Eye / Proton Experimental - bleeding edge - Beta.
Proton-Battle eye IS needed.? I think? It appeared to be the case.
I dont know why and the latest GER-Proton doesnt work at all.
Battlenet installs perfectly and is 100% functional.
I used Battlenet and BattleNet-Beta.
The results from both were indistinguishable.
Call of Duty Warzone when launched fails.
Then after a moment the option to start the game in safe mode appears.
Select either option and the game begins to launch.
The Activision launch Splash video plays.
The Steam Overlay Pop up in the bottom right hand corner appears.
Next the " Terms of Agreement" page is presented.
Here the mouse works but I had no button functionallity to select that I agree to the "Terms of Agreement"
This page freezes, crashes then returns to BattleNet.
I used various combinations of Proton and Battlenet [ comand% switches ] with varying degrees of improvement.
I was using a GTX1050(2G) with dx11 command switched in both Proton and BattleNet.
I'll try again latter using the Dx12 capable nVidia RTX.
Nothing happened when Proton-BattleEye wasnt installed.
I know BattleEye is not BattleNet like BattleEye is not Proton-BattleEye.
I have no idea why this is the case I'm just reporting the facts so someone might have an easy win.
I just did blunt force whatevers until bluntforce whatevers made an advance in the right direction.
