Can move freely from scrolling web browser to gameplay.
Logitech Wireless GamepadF710 perfect functionality.
Other than this ( Mouse issue) Alien Isolation is 100% compatible and should be whitelisted.
It intuitively looks and feels better than the Linux and M$ native gameplay..
The best that I've experience on those platforms with this game anyway.

Hello @username-murphy, there's critical details missing here to determine if you're using the linux native port of this game or what version of Proton you're using with the windows variant. Let me know when those details are added and I'll re-open.

Hello, I know this might be kind of unsupported and a long shot, but there is a very popular mod made for Alien: Isolation called MotherVR. Its installation on Windows is simple: just drop dxgi.dll (yes, a directx11 DLL, the same thing that dxvk uses) on the game executable directory and it will start and play in VR. I would love to be able to play Alien: Isolation in VR on Linux, but everything I tried so fair failed.

If I drop dxgi.dll on Alien Isolation (proton build, not linux native build) directory and use WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dxgi=n,b" %command% for the launch options, it should work, right? But it doesn't, with the following proton log:

steam-214490.log

Please let me know if there is anything else that can be done for this mod to work with the game?
