Symptoms

The game crashes whenever attempting to create a multiplayer game through galaxy multiplayer and when on the join server screen. The game also crashed on the instant action screen and whenever a map is finished loading.

Hello @AnnoyedEndUser, your Kaveri chipset is part of the Sea Islands (CIK) generation of AMD GPUs. By default, the linux kernel uses the radeon kernel module with this generation, but that kernel module is not compatible with Vulkan. Please give https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/wiki/For-AMD-users-having-issues-with-non-OpenGL-games a read. After that, please test the game with a newer version of Proton.
