Running the windows version of the game on my oled deck through proton, visuals seem to just turn completely white and the game starts blaring static garbage once you get to the title screen unless you use protontricks to install d3dcompiler_47 and xact.

Proton LOG=1 https://gist.github.com/EpicureanGit/71d12f20b27e626d1f90bd3321ab0561
Symptoms
The game loads with a white screen that has "press start" flashing at the bottom. The audio sounds like a rumbling sound effect in a 16-bit video game. It will have moments where it plays the audio correctly.
Reproduction
Press "Play" in the Steam client.

Solved by repeating this procedure. Just go to winetricks, add the d3dcompiler_47 and xact (ignore the 32 bits warnings in heroic launcher and you are good to go)
Still seems to be occurring with latest Experimental. I did see that fna got an update on the audio end that should fix it with unaligned buffer upload support, but I dunno when this'll show up in proton proper
You need wine tricks, add d3dcompiler_47 and xact and it works.

I know about wine tricks, I was testing without it to see how progress went, mainly cause I saw fna got an update about the static garbled audio

System Information
I confirm:
steam-40800.zip
Symptoms
Frametimes are hugely inconsistent, going from 12 ms up to 19 ms.
Reproduction
I forced the game to run with Proton Experimental, then installed additional packages using ProtonTricks.
In the terminal:
protontricks 40800 d3dcompiler_47 xact(see the MHzBurglar's comment on https://www.protondb.com/app/40800)Then launch the game. All levels seems to be affected.
This is an intermittent issue but it occurs frequently (at least a few seconds per minute)
