Symptoms

Black screen when game starts. Did not go away after waiting about 10 minutes.

Reproduction

Launch the game using the Proton versions mentioned.

A huge amount of errors were being spit out, so the file had to be truncated to fit as an attachment.

Suddenly started working the next day. This was after an update and a restart.

Reopening because it failed a few more times later and is now suddenly working again. Not sure what's causing the inconsistency.
