Symptoms

DS5 controllers don't seem to work properly over proton, the only way I can make them work is to connect an Xbox controller after the DS5. The game does not use steam input and this behavior happens regardless of if its enabled or not. On Windows, connecting a DS5 works fine.

Reproduction

  1. Plug in a DS5 with steam input disabled
  2. See that it does nothing
  3. Add an Xbox controller after
  4. Works???
