Max Payne 2 when pressing escape to go to the menu after starting a game causes loss of input (mouse and keyboard) for the menu. ALT-F4 and ALT-TAB still work but the game itself does not recognize input.
In options before starting the game there is a checkbox for allow windows keys, this allows for ALT-F4 to be able to close the game.
I had the mouse issues in an earlier version of Proton, which made it unplayable.
I gave it another shot with newer Proton and it's working beautifully with Proton 5.0-2, Intel Haswell, Mesa https://gist.github.com/adrianlshaw/b28ba3174af2db42848c3db9c380ea1a
No mouse bugs. And regularly hitting 60FPS. Stopped after the first mission. May resume another day.
Certainly a good candidate for whitelisting.
