Symptoms

The game loops forever trying to get video codecs and complete graphics initialization (In Proton 7.0-4, it makes one attempt then crashes.)

Reproduction

Launch the game using the current Proton Experimental build as of 2022-11-30.

The build of DXVK in Proton Experimental requires NVIDIA 510.47 or newer and the Debian packaging for the NVIDIA driver in Bullseye doesn't provide a newer driver series than you're currently using.
