Symptoms

Picking Mai Natsume in the character select screen causes the game to crash.

Reproduction

  • Launch the game
  • Select a mode that requires going to the character select screen (eg. Training mode, Arcade Mode)
  • Pick Mai Natsume (can picked for player 1 or player 2)
  • Game should crash

Additional information:

It seems like Proton 7.0-5 and versions below (I've this and 6.3-8) don't seem to be experiencing this issue but there appears to be a number of reports of instabilities on ProtonDB.
