Symptoms

the game crashed when talking to NPC named Hoss in NCR. the output is:

The instruction at 00458dca referenced memory at 00000000
The memory could not be read from

Click on OK to terminate the application

Reproduction

travel to the locations
image
talk to the man in the corner, chose [bite me], and talk until the end
image
after the dialog window closed, the game crashed and show this output
image

Saves that were originally made on windows crash, this does not occur with saves made on linux

@poisonHornGames I couldn't reproduce locally. A windows made save loaded for me on linux, and a save made on linux worked on windows as well.
