Symptoms

Logging in as an existing account holder on the Ubisoft Connect launcher fails as the "login" button does nothing. Tried tapping on the screen, pressing enter on the text fields, tabbing onto the button with the keyboard etc.

Reproduction

Open ubisoft game
When prompted, attempt to login with an existing account (NOT a new account!)
Click "log in"

Other notes

Notably, this is identical to the behaviour on Windows, however Ubisoft Connect support are instructing users to open the game/launcher in administrator mode which solves it.

I've done little research but apparently WINE already tells apps that they have admin privileges so this might be something unrelated?

This should be noted that Im referring to Steam versions of the Ubisoft connect launcher in both Windows and Linux cases, not the standalone app that seems to work fine with proton.

Started happening for me today as well...
Running proton experimental. Game is Steep.
Ubisoft Connect starts but the Log in button does nothing.
It worked the day before. Ubisoft update breaking stuff?

Happening to me as well. Steam on Windows. A few days ago I remember "it took me several clicks on "Log In" button" on UbiSoft Connect (launched by Steam).

Today no luck. Today my money spent on this digital products is wasted. Total fraud.

I'm also having this issue now on Windows. Never was a problem before, even last night. I am trying to launch Rainbow Six Siege from Steam. Also, I shouldn't have even been logged out in general that has never happened before.

EDIT: 30 minutes later it is now working just give it a break and try again later if you have this issue
