Hi @kisak-valve since it only crashes on a few courts I had assumed it was a vulkan thing
Should I try an API trace, or is this a XAUDIO thing for sure?
Hello @fr500, the XAudio2 label is just a tracking note that this game uses that sub-component. No blame is implied with the label.
ah gotcha, it was the first line oñthe stacktrace though so I though it may
be that indeed, but I'll try to get deeper

I got it to work decently
I adding overrides for both xaudio2_7 and x3daudio1_7, both to BUILTIN only, that did the trick for me, 10 games and no fatal aerror anymore. I guess the default is native, because on the proton log by default you see xaudio2_7 native, now it reads builtin as expected and no match start crashes so far.
nah... it crashed again... so NVM that

The game seems to work normally, exhibition matches are fine, but once I got into NBA season I started facing the crashes.
It seems it only crashes in some stages, I guess it depends on the effects used on each court.
Please tell me if there is anything else I can do to find a fix.
