External controller support is broken on Deck, inputs are spammed making playing impossible.

Reproduction

  1. Fire up the game on Deck, and use an external controller (Dualsense, Xbox One controller), and watch as navigating even the menu is impossible due to input spam.

Hey @kisak-valve is there anyway to report a Deck specific Steam Input issue? This game only has controller support Via the steam input api, and on desktop using external controllers is fine, and the decks controller is fine. But if you use external controllers with this game on deck, the inputs are spammed, making the menu impossible to navigate. ONLY happens on Deck with external controllers.
