Hello @alosarjos, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.)
For reference, Steam Deck (Latest stable version) should imply SteamOS 3.4.6 at this time.
@kisak-valve Here you have the log. I also updated the issue to include OS version and the same log file
@alosarjos Thank you for reporting this regression! We are investigating it now :) In the meantime, I would recommend forcing that game to 7.0-6 - it is possible to force on a game-by-game basis (if you didn't already do that).
Hello, this game can't boot anymore. I tried current proton version, experimental, GE, v7.0-6. Nothings works, it keep crashing after the into.
@kust2708 It looks like you are running into the same issue. "GLib-ERROR **: 10:42:35.339: ../../../glib/gmem.c:112: failed to allocate 12556939 bytes". The game is only a 32-bit game, and unfortunately it runs out of address space, which is not possible to solve until very major changes to Wine are implemented :/

Symptoms
There seems to be some regression regarding Proton Experimental. Booting the game, when the Gearbox publishing logo shows up, if there is any kind of framerate limitation, it will freeze there and get stuck. The only way to get pass through it is to disable the framerate limitations. Sadly I also enabled the VSync inside the game which also reproduces the issue and can't enter to fix it.

Forcing 7.0-6 seems to fix the issue
