Symptoms

I was trying to start the game on my Pop_OS computer and the install scripts would initate fine and install everything necessary, however after that, an EAC window popped up which was normal and then a few seconds later, the game's main executable opened and then within a second crashes back to Steam. I have done this multiple times with the same problem.

Game is running completely without sound after the latest patch. Switching proton versions didn't help. Running on latest preview build of Steam OS 3.5. Problem persists on Steam OS 3.4 as well.
