Just curious, why was this moved to the Proton GitHub? I thought the solution would be to change the default mapping used by the Steam Linux client so the Steam Deck launches this game with Proton 8.0.
Hello @renatopereyra, my initial evaluation of your issue report is that this is game-specific feedback, and in general we're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker, which is why I transferred this issue report.
Any update on this bug? It seems like a really easy fix to just update the default Proton version.

Unturned (steam id: 304930) fails to start with Proton 7.0-6 (current default). The game appears to crash immediately after opening a window. The game does launch correctly with Proton 8.0-3.
