Symptoms

When launching the game it installs Uplay which is no longer online.

Reproduction

Launch the game with any Proton version.

Fix

Replace the Uplay command in the script with UbisoftConnect.

Thanks for the hint, this issue also affects "Assassin's Creed Origins", where UPlay is still referenced instead of Ubisoft Connect. Just changing the .vcf file, deleting the corresponding proton folder (inside compatdata folder) and restarting the game solved the issue.
