@kisak-valve Hmm, the downgrade most have fixed something in the prefix cause now it works when going back to 3.16-1 again. I'll have to re-install to test/get logs again, and that will be first tomorrow in that case. Will keep you updated regardless.
@kisak-valve re-installed/tested today and now it works also with 3.16 (-2 however). Will not put time into testing 3.16-1 again and leave it at that.
Sorry for wasting anyone's time it seems. Hopefully this was a one time issue and not intermittent.
this game seems to be working fine (for me!) could it be officially adopted ? (then at least I can turn off for all and see which are officially supported without having to guess....)
I don't know if this necessarily counts as an issue, but it may be worth noting I've always found this game runs, saves and loads slower for me on Proton than on vanilla Wine.

Hello @pshem, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.) Also, please copy the contents of Steam Runtime Diagnostics from Steam (Steam -> Help -> Steam Runtime Diagnostics) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.
Please disregard - I needed to install the dependencies (it was Proton outside of Steam, so unsupported, and that's also the reason why the dependencies were not autoinstalled)
Hello, the game worked like a charm in the past, but recently I changed to a new M.2 ssd and I had to reinstall the SO (linux Mint 22.3). Now the game run at 3 fps. Here is the gist with the Steam diagnostic, and attached the Proton logs.

According to your Proton log it is only seeing the lavapipe (llvmpipe) Vulkan driver which runs on the CPU. Perhaps you are missing your 32-bit Nvidia driver? Or it is broken somehow.
