update (this will be long xD):
after trying some things, i discovered that the issue only happen when the game is on full screen. i read and ear about similar bugs before:
so what next?
at this point i need feedback from anyone, i need to clear somethings:
The native version dumps core pretty much immediately (yes, my motherboard's RGB shows up as a joystick...):

Don't worry, it's btrfs.
Forcing Proton 8 I was able to launch the game, load a save, and tried walking around for a bit. Didn't notice any issues.
Forcing Scout Runtime also works to get the game playable, but it then runs without any anti-aliasing regardless of settings. The intro video is also offset a fair bit to the right and once at the main menu it takes like 10 seconds before you can interact with it. Another clear win for Proton over native ports.
Nothing extracted yet.
