Symptoms
The games, especially (but not only) Metal Gear 2 crash randomly. Metal Gear 1 seems to crash very rarely whereas Metal Gear 2 seems to crash more frequently. It's random though, sometimes it can go on for a long time without crashing.
Reproduction
Play the games for a while. Note that when the game crashes it doesn't close or display an error, it simply "stops". The image freezes. You can still use the Steam UI while the game is frozen.
Since the crashes are unpredictable, I haven't been successful at replicating it with PROTON_LOG=1 yet. Hopefully somebody else can upload a crashing log, if not, I'll add the log when I manage to get one.
