All my games using Proton 8.0 and experimental seem to be affected.
Issue #7009 is pretty close to what I've experienced: The games start fine, but freeze on the first frame and after some minutes, it seems to advance one frame. I can atl-tab and access the application launcher but they take a few seconds to respond. Also, when the game is not focused it continues like normal and when I focused it back, they freeze. Setting the game in windowed mode seems to prevent the freeze.
I'm on opensuse Kalpa and using the flatpak version of Steam and the problem, so i'm not sure if my problem is the same as the one in the issue I mentioned previously. Also, I don't think the problem is cause by SELinux, I tested with permissive mode and it didn't make any difference. I also experience the same bug with Proton-GE so it might be problem with wine in general?
