Symptoms

Audio for the game seems to play fine except for the intro fmv (the one that starts after the namco and other associated logos play out), strangely enough it only seems to be this fmv that lacks audio.

Might also apply to the full game too.

Reproduction

Start up the demo and let it run through the company logos, once it starts playing the intro fmv, notice the lack of sound.

Symptoms

Game is stuck on launching but never starts.

Reproduction

Run Tekken 8 on Linux mint 21.2 from a steam package (not flatpak)

Just tested and found that Tekken 8 demo does load when run through the flatpak version of steam. I prefer to use the system package (.deb) as it uses around 4MB of space where as the flatpak takes 1.3GB all flatpaks are the same so I avoid them when possible.

Symptoms

Game does not reach 60 FPS outside of absurdly low settings (Rendering scale: 30% of 1080p, all graphics on low).

Edit: Solved!
Disabled Integrated Graphics in the bios. Appears to be an Unreal Engine 5 issue as other UE5 games are also trying to use your CPU's internal GPU instead of your graphics card.
