I can't even get this far, the screen just goes black & sound stops after the intro logos.
My fans go crazy and I can see that the process is using a whole lot of CPU, but nothing happens.

I've tried various different Proton version (including GE)
I'm incredibly confused given how many people are saying this just works on ProtonDB https://www.protondb.com/app/315210

I also tried with different command line arguments, I expected either -vulkan or -opengl to work best, but neither will even show the logos because it's apparently missing files for shader generation. I guess WB didn't include those files in the install package

UPDATE: Upgrading to a rather experimental version of Nvidia drivers has made things get further. Now it's actually started "Optimizing shaders"... Let's see how long this takes. :/ (Took somewhere between 5 & 10mins, and did not repeat on 2nd startup, I haven't tried actually playing a game yet)
I'm a little uncomfortable with having installed Nvidia drivers from Nvidia's development repo rather than the stable Debian repo, but we'll see how this goes.

Nothing extracted yet.
