@Pat- Did you figure out your issue? If not a Proton is needed to see if anything sticks out.
I have this specifically with Summoners War Sky Arena, I get the Com2Us splash screen but after that the screen remains black.
No problems with other games.
I used an exact copy of the game's files in a Windows 10 and a Windows 11 VM (VMware® Workstation Player 25H2). There they launch without issue. These are both the folder downloaded by steam and the files downloaded by the game itself.
Edit: Reinstalling the proton versions listed below did not work
Also tested on another device (Dell lattitude 5300) with the same OS, files and Steam/Proton versions. Starts without issue on this device
Tried launching the game with these proton versions:
Proton-GE ( proton-ge-custom-bin 1:GE_Proton11_5-1: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/proton-ge-custom-bin)
Proton-Hotfix
Proton-Experimental
Proton 10.0-4
Proton 11.0

Issue
Any game using proton will result in a black screen when they game boots up and it never loads, I've tried over several different games from Fallout 1, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, V Rising, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblvion, Dark Souls: Remastered, Days Gone, etc. I'm at least fairly confident that it's a proton because any games with a native build like Civilization 6, Cities: Skylines, Don't Starve all work perfectly fine and so do games I run through Wine.
