Symptoms

When launching the game, I receive no window or indication the game is running outside the fact I can't click anywhere on screen and that Steam still says Running. (Note: Proton Experimental doesn't automatically close but other versions of Proton do)

I have tried the default version of Proton and Experimental (along with one GE-Proton8-32) but none have helped.

Adding -ignore-windows-system-certs or -dx12 did not help.

Unfortunately I have the other (DX12) issue, so the cert fix doesn't do me much good.

FPS leaves much to be desired, and judging by the underload of the GPU, this can be solved by optimization.

I replaced my nvidia 2070S with a 4070S and now Nightingale launches and runs (have not put the game through it's paces so not sure about performance). This would seem to indicate that the game not launching could be related to either the 2070s specifically or maybe the 2xxx series as I used the same drivers for the 2070s and 4070s.

Original issue description used 545.29.06 but even after upgrading to 550.54.14, the 2070s would not launch the game while the 4070s does.
