Hello @leillo1975, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options and drag and drop the generated log into the comment box.
Done, Where I can find it?
You should be looking for ~/steam-55100.log
I saw videos where someone playing this with wine + DXVK, but I'm personally have no luck to launch this from my Steam library.
Thanks! I was searching on Steam folders....
This is a weird one. I was able to play the full game using a standalone copy (without steam), but trying to launch the same game through windows' steam (through wine) failed. Could it be that proton is having the same issues than Wine Steam?
For me the game won't launch either. This will be probably cause by vcredist2005 and vcredist2008, which booth need a x86 Wine prefix.

Attempted install/boot with latest Proton Experimental, gets as far as "updating executable" and executing, but then just hangs and closes, doesn't draw anything on screen.
Attached a log from the latest proton experimental which is fixing issues with CEG DRM games:

@Swizzler121 Any chance you'll try with windows native d3dx11_42.dll (via protontricks or manual override)?
Still crashes for me as well. The game icon appears in the window list in my panel and then crashes. Neither installing some dx11 libraries nor disabling fsync and esync helps.

Took advice I saw in another thread to switch to "bleeding edge" proton experimental by going to steam tools, and opting in to the proton experimental beta version
After doing so also took advice from another thread troubleshooting CEG DRM games and verified local game files which re-downloads the vanilla executable and re-applies the patch.
after doing all this the game installed and launched! but it launched windowed at 800x600 minimum settings on everything. Not sure if this is fixable for a smoother steam deck experience.

Once I got in game I was able to switch to windowed borderless and switch everything to ultra, ran fantastic, no stutters or anything, played for about an hour with zero issues.

In my time playing didn't see anything that needed addressed outside it launching at 800x600 windowed.
The first time I ran it, it seemed to run fine, but ever since, it won't launch. I'm using Proton experimental-10.0-20260210.
Judging by the logs, it looks like something's crashing.

Thanks for the heads-up. Would that be AMDGPU, Mesa, or something else?
