okay I got Both fallout New Vegas Running and Alex Jones: NWO Wars using this launch command: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
But Alex Jones NWO Wars starts and runs but its lagging and the sound also lags, and when I get done with first level it begins to load, and loads forever. Fallout New Vegas starts up, but is extremely buggy Extreme long loading and a window keeps coming up stating: "Steam" is not Responding. You may choose to wait a short while for it to continue or force the application to quit entirely.
Hello @luke1776, Proton requires a Vulkan capable GPU. Your NVIDIA GT 610 is part of the Fermi hardware generation and there is no Vulkan driver for that generation. Additionally, the PROTON_USE_WINED3D runtime option is not considered supported. Sorry, but your hardware is not supportable by Proton in general.

Symptoms Every time I start both games, fallout new Vegas and Alex Jones: NWO Wars, both games begin launching then crash. When Launching fallout: New Vegas it flashes the start window then vanishes, When starting Alex Jones: NWO Wars, it starts but nothing comes up then crashes. I have tried many different proton version, like the Proton experimental, Proton 7, proton 8, proton 9, proton hotfix, Nothing seems to work. I'm on a Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS.
