Symptoms

Game doesnt start up in VR.
It uses OpenXR and D3D12, an unsupported combo it seems.

The game starts now in VR on Proton Experimental.

It seems it is not working in Proton Experimental anymore. Tried Proton 9.0-3, had a fatal error, cleaned the prefix and tried Proton Experimental, same thing. Sending both logs.

I am using ALVR v20.11.1 for VR with the meta quest 3. Other games work normally (tried more than a hundred VR games before this one).

The symptom is that when you try to launch, the flat screen gets black, and then this dialog with some malformed elements appear.

It is of note that this game is made by Vertigo games, which have many other games that work flawlessly on Linux, e.g. Arizona Sunshine 1 and 2, After the Fall, Hellsweeper, Maskmaker, Traffic Jans, Skyworld, etc. So it should not have something that is too odd to become incompatible, specially if it worked in a particular version of Proton Experimental.
