Symptoms

The game doesn't even start, it starts the process to open and then after awhile it closes on its own. It doesn't even reach a point of opening a window.

Reproduction

As I stated earlier, I tried to run it with proton Experimental, 9.0, 8.05 and 7.06, and the result was the same.

As of 2024-09-24, it loads, but I could detect a crackling in the background. PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC didn't help. Also, both keyboard and mouse becomes unresponsive/skips every 3 seconds, while the game is running. The game isn't taxing the system particularly hard, other than the intro scene which seems to be a full video reading from disk, rather than streaming it with cache, I couldn't find something helpful. The mouse getting unresponsive kinda spoils the experience.
