Symptoms

Booting up needs to go through 2 "Font Importing Error!" messages before the game runs. After that, it's fine.

There appears to be font differences between Windows and Proton, with the load screen's "This is Load screen!" text being smaller on Proton.

It's implied that it's an issue shared with Steam Deck and that installing the fonts in .local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/三妖精のぴょこぴょこ討伐大作戦！/PTS_300/data would fix it.

Boot up the game and pay attention to any pop ups.
