I confirm:

  • [x] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • [x] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

Game either hangs on EAC banner (0%/black window) or hangs in a games window after the banner (black screen).

Steps to reproduce

Simply launch 2073850 or 1172470
Observe the hang.

It was running fine before system upgrade.

I reverted updates to 2024.08.26 - everything started working.

Upgraded kernel and Nvidia stuff (Linux, linux-firmware, linux-firmware-whence, linux-headers, nvidia-dkms, nvidia-utils, lib32-nvidia-utils etc) - everything is working.

Upgraded everything else (it's very tedious, so I won't do bisection, or one by one)... And it's working now.

Idk what the issue was, but rolling back some dependency and upgrading it again fixed it.
