[x] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available. (I just did a system update including updating graphics drivers, but I haven't been able to get it to work since it released at the end of July.)
The game pops up a black window for a split second upon pressing Play, then closes.
I tried adding PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% (though the log is from without it), which caused a black screen where I could hear the opening video playing (the game runs fine on my Steam Deck, so I could tell that's what was happening). I think it gets to the main menu, but it still just shows a black screen with what sound like UI sounds when I move the mouse around.
