Symptoms

The game does not set the keybindings correctly, when i set the key x on jump the game says i pressed numlock. No matter what keys i want to bind, they don't match the keyboard layout.

Reproduction

See above

I rolled back to steams proton 9.03 version and the issue is gone, when i select proton ge again the issue is back.

Hello @MichelN86, can you check how the game behaves with Proton Experimental? If the issue only occurs with a third party build of Proton, then your feedback should be directed at that build's maintainer(s).

Hi kisak, thought i posted on Proton-GE...appologies. Steam proton 9.0-3 has zero issues. With Proton-GE i only have problems.

I was having this issue with Proton 9 and Proton Experimental. No matter what button I pressed, Num Lock would get bound. I switched to Proton 8, and the issue went away. With Proton 8, I'm able to bind keys properly.

Can confirm, STAR WARS™: Dark Forces Remaster currently have a "keyboard problem" with 9.0-4 and experimental. Proton 8 works.
