Compatibility Report

  • Name of the game with compatibility issues: Smite 2, Crime Boss: Rockay City
  • Steam AppID of the game: 2437170 and 2933080

System Information

I confirm:

  • [*] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • [*] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

When I start a UE5 game everything runs fine for 30 minutes or even more, but at some point something happens and the game becomes very stuttery IF i move the mouse at that window or use the keyboard WASD or other keys too. If i don't touch anything the game works fine.
I 've just tested with radeontop, and as soon as i move the cursor the GPU starts spending less resources because it doesn't render lots of fps unlike when i don't touch anything. Just recorded this, sorry you won't see the cursor but you can see the bars going down when i move the cursor into the game's window, also recorded a little with the game so you can see the stuttering.

**edit: deleted video since issue is closed and not needed anymore

Reproduction

Just play for 30~60 mins and it will happen.

Sorry, i don't have a proton log for now, because i just discovered that this is only happening to me with UE5 games. Now I'm gonna try to make a log playing again more Smite 2. Updating asap.
