[x ] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
[x ] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.
Symptoms
Issue seems to have occured only when I had my wireless headphones connected (via USB dongle) and while in a Discord call. My headphones are EPOS GSA 70.
In this scenario, I launched the game and after several minutes, whether in the game's menu or in a lobby, external keyboard and mouse input was not detected. Only the integrated laptop keyboard and touchpad functioned until the other keyboard and mouse were physically reconnected to it.
In addition, the current audio input and output were not detected by the game and my headphones did not pick up any audio whatsoever until I reconnected them.
No such problems were discovered when outside of a Discord call and using in-built speakers.
Another issue that crashed the game with a fatal error message was when I tried recording with a camera I picked up at the start of the level. No similar issues were observed when using other equipment presented to the player.
Reproduction
Go into a Discord call with wireless headphones. Have a keyboard and mouse plugged into a laptop. Install game on SSD not containing Home or root, then run with Proton Experimental. Navigate to the Audio options in the game menu to confirm audio detection not working. Keep navigating menus or move character in game lobby until input inevitably disconnects.
Pick up the in-game camera and attempt to record with it (Left Click). A fatal error should occur that crashes the game.
