Symptoms

Game does not launch since update 5.12.0, 2025 March 6. There were subsequent updates, but so far no change for me. This error is thrown.

The game used to work just fine the last couple of weeks.

Hello @Lenzelot. we're using one issue per unofficially supported game title, and usually I'd transfer this issue report to #7317, however, this specific feedback has already been triaged per https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/7317#issuecomment-2705371772.
