After the game starts my monitor flashes white partially white. I've even seen my monitor turn off completely for a few seconds. Happens in no other game.

Someone in the reddit thread pointed me to this https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU#Screen_artifacts_and_frequency_problem and changing the power profile to high appears to have fixed it.
