Symptoms

VR game but it doesn't start in VR.

With ALVR:

with Proton 8: doesn't start, PLAY button gets green again after some seconds.
with Proton 9: starts on the screen, saying did not detect the headset, as in the picture:

With WiVRn:

with Proton 8: doesn't start, same as with ALVR
with Proton 9: blacks out the headset, starts on the screen with head tracking working, but not on the headset, as in the picture:

Reproduction

Start WLVR or WiVRn as your VR streaming solution of choice
start the game

Attaching the logs of WiVRn with proton 8 and 9 and the log of ALVR with proton 9
