Hello @waywardfrantz, the performance characteristics of wildly different games can not be generalized. Also, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title.
Feel free to add a couple notes to the preexisting compatibility reports for these games (#7033 #5203) with your findings.
Nothing extracted yet.

Symptoms
Both of these games are working excellent on my system (solid PC with linux mint), I can play on aim heavy characters and perform essentially the same.
BUT after about two hours worth of play I had the same issue on both games, it starts stammering to the point of becoming unplayable. Very choppy in terms of display and input.
The frame counter goes all over the place, generally claiming it is getting 100 but it is not at all. Also in OW2 I'd see one of the "loading"-esque icons in the top left corner of the screen. But the same issue was present on a non-blizzard FPS game, and nothing else on the computer was showing lag or display issues. Feel like it could be a memory thing, restarting the game solves the issue.
Lower intensity games (darkest dungeon 2) didn't have this issue, nor did world of warcraft run through Lutris. I've got a 4070super and ultrawide 1440p so there's a lot of display stuff passing through.
