Symptoms

On Steam Deck :

  • In Gaming Mode I just get a black screen when I try to start the game (like a freeze)
  • In Desktop Mode a window open (with close button), content is black and nothing happen. I'm unable to click anywhere or use "Steam" or "..." buttons, I need to do a hard reboot with power button.

Also tried with Proton 9.0-4 and GE-Proton9-27 and after deleting compdata 1687950 folder

On Windows 11 with RTX 3060 Ti:
Game start and I can go to main menu

On Linux (Bazzite 42/Fedora 42) with RTX 3060 Ti:
Game start and I can go to main menu

Reproduction

Install the game, delete compdata folder 1687950 if it exist, try to start the game.

This issue can be closed.
I'm finally able to get it working on my Steam Deck :

  • Uninstall the game from Steam Deck
  • Delete "P5R" folder in "/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common" if needed
  • Deleted "1687950" folder in "/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata" if needed
  • Reinstall the game
  • It should work

Symptoms:
The menu and game runs at ~25-30 FPS using Proton-8.0-5 and Proton Experimental. I didn't try Proton 9.0-4. It runs at ~60 FPS using Proton 7.0-6 using the same configuration.

Reproduction: Start the game and reach the main menu.
