Symptoms

The game will CTD upon trying to enter a battle. From Story mode, tutorial, training, versus, it will crash in the VS. screen with both characters displayed.

Reproduction

1. Boot Shadow Prisoner and select any mode that leads to a fight screen (Training works well).
2. Select the characters and stage.
3. Watch it crash after it gets to the Vs. screen.

From what I can tell, this issue is any Linux distro, and not just the Steam Deck/SteamOS. I tried installing usp10.dll through protontricks after checking the log, but all that did was change the line from reading "loading usp10.dll (builtin)" to "loading usp10.dll (native)" and had no effect on the game. Disabling steam overlay and steam input also had no effect, nor did booting with Japanese locale.
