Uh hey. This time the game managed to crash all on its own, less than a minute after freezing. I guess that's progress, of sorts?
Got a log of my latest attempt to run the game.

Hello @KvaGram, your Proton log has an access violation (c0000005) in /usr/lib/pressure-vessel/overrides/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnvidia-glcore.so.535.247.0 that hints towards a video driver issue. Can you test how the game behaves with a newer video driver release series?
Sorry for the delay. I had to find time where any potential driver issues wouldn't be too inconvenient. Thankfully changing the GPU driver was painless this time. I have had issues before. Hence why I ran on a slightly older driver.
So, running with an updated driver, and all software updated, I got the same issue. Game freeze at first logo. First second of running. Here is the new log.

Symptoms
Game launch, then freezes. Most often, I get past loading logos. Sometimes past the loading screen.
Furthest I have gotten so far, is to the main menu, before the game, again, freeze and have to be manually terminated.
Reproduction
Launch Surviving Mars Pioneer.
It's early days and it's an early access game, so I don't expect a fix on the spot.
But it was on sale, so I decided to get it early. My hope is that it somehow works in a few months. So far it's borked.
But because it's a recently release early access, I don't want to add a report to protondb just yet. Hence why I instead start this thread.
